Enterprise applications
UVic's enterprise applications are used to support UVic's business and administrative needs. These include our enterprise resource planning platform, Ellucian Banner, Millenium FAST and specialized applications used by departments.
These systems are primarily administered and supported by the department responsible for managing the kind of data that's stored in them. For example, the Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Management is responsible for student data and they administer UVic's student information applications.
University Systems has a technical support role which includes:
- patching servers and applications
- administering databases
- managing UVic's single sign on for web apps
- troubleshooting network connection and sign-in issues
Supervisors can ask the units that administrate these applications (Budget & Finance, Human Resources, or Office of the Registrar and Enrolment Management) to give access to employees as needed, depending on their role and responsibilities.

Budget & finance
UVic's budget and finance applications are administered by Financial Services. They provide training, resources and support for chairs, directors, faculty and staff who use them.
If you’re a supervisor, you can request access for your employees through the Financial Systems Access form.
