Classroom AV support

University Systems provides help for the audiovisual (AV) equipment in all general use classrooms. We offer a variety of support options including in-person demos and self-help guides.

If this is your first time teaching or presenting at UVic, book a demo with us. We'll help make sure your class or presentation isn't disrupted by technical issues.

Restricted rooms

This page is about UVic's general use classrooms

If you're using a restricted room (owned and scheduled by a faculty or department), contact the department's office or IT staff for keys and information.

Find a classroom

General use classrooms can be booked by instructors, students, and employees.

Schedule a demo

We offer free 20-30 minute demos outside of class time. We'll help orient you to the AV equipment and test your presentation or lecture materials. If you're interested in using the lapel mic or recording your lecture, we can help with that, too.

If this is your first time teaching at UVic or in a particular style of classroom, we strongly recommend you schedule a demo before your first class.
