The ShakeOut is a province-wide earthquake drill that encourages everyone to Drop, Cover, and Hold On—a simple action that can save lives in a real earthquake.
Each year, UVic joins hundreds of thousands of participants across BC, and millions more worldwide, to practice earthquake safety and raise awareness about preparedness.
