The Microscope was the Victoria College student newsletter. From 1938-1940, it was produced as a typescript newsletter containing articles, and original photographs and cartoons, which was posted for students to read. Canadian author Pierre Berton was an assistant editor and principle cartoonist for these issues. From 1946-1948 it was a four page printed newspaper.

It remains the University's principle student newspaper.
